Happiness has many forms and new stationery is one of them.

We are looking for Christmas Assistants and Supervisors to join us at our HQ in Brighton, flagship store in Chelsea and concession in King's Cross from November-January on at least a two month contract.

You'll need to be available at Christmas (Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, Bank Holidays, and the gap between Christmas and New Year).

Our stationery HQ in Brighton's iconic North Laine, a two minute walk from the main station and opposite the coffee gods, Pelicano. Our e-commerce store is above the shop.

Our Chelsea store is situated on the beautiful Pavilion Road, five minutes walk from Sloane Square station. Our King's Cross concession is in the stunning Coal Drops Yard development, inside the Wolf and Badger store.

The role
We're looking for new people to join us from this month until the end of January to help with our busy time of year. You'll get stuck in with all sorts, from helping out on the shop floor, to wrapping orders, to processing deliveries to taking photos for social media.

It suits someone who is passionate about stationery, a get things done kind of attitude, fast learner and you'll definitely need to be confident chatting to customers and helping them on the shop floor.

Hours and salary
We have part-time and full-time contracts available. Pay starts at National Minimum Wage for the Assistant roles and £9.50 for the Supervisor roles. For the Supervisor role you'll need at least two years of experience as a Retail Supervisor or Store Manager and you'll need to be available full-time (five days per week). So what are we looking for?
We like working with people who are efficient and like to get things done to a high standard. We're a small business so we all chip in with everything that goes on in a stationery shop. We adore people who will bring passion for our products, confidence, initiative and positivity to the store.

A day in the shop involves all sorts. This could include talking to customers, sharing product knowledge, taking photos or creating stories for Instagram, demonstrating products, selling products, stock checking, processing deliveries of stationery (the best bit), restocking, cleaning, tidying, visual merchandising, answering the phone, wrapping orders, handwriting notes, tracking deliveries. It's varied, fast paced and fun!

Important details
Contract length: 2-3 months
Part-time or full-time hours: 15-37.5 per week
Salary: £8.91-£9.50 per hour dependent on experience
