Now all of the major work has been carried out on this mammoth transformation, the finishing touches and last big jobs can finally be completed. This included sanding and varnishing the wooden flooring, which we were initially reluctant to do as the floor boards already looked so nice. We decided it was best to protect the floor but due to the floor being varnished it couldn't be walked on for several hours which meant we were stuck in the studio all this time, which allowed us to start addressing our launch party invites and planning our window displays. Although, Kyle somehow conveniently managed to get shut out of the studio after the varnishing had already begun!
We're really looking forward to opening the shop and getting to meet all of our neighbours and fellow stationery lovers, and have a well earned break from renovation!
