Product description
Az-u-rite. Named after the azure coloured mineral, this is a deep blue that warms up in the sunlight, like the skies and the seas. It's finished with a fine linen emboss.
Azurite is a navy blue A5 notebook with 236 pages. Choose dot grid, ruled or plain pages.
The notebook begins with a simple printed bookplate for dedicating to your pal, or putting your reward and contact information. We've all got to do our bit to help lost notebooks find their way back home.
Two contents pages and numbered pages throughout allow for easy navigation. As you move through the notebook, the page numbers gradually change colour, taking you through the spectrum.
The notebook contains 100gsm smooth, fountain pen friendly paper stock with minimal show through. It's suitable for use with highlighters, rollerballs, markers, brush pens, ballpoints and ink pens, as well as graphite and coloured pencils. We've tested numerous markers including Tombow (Dual Brush, Twin Tone, Fudenosuke), Faber-Castell Pitt, Pentel Sign and Brush Pens, 20+ black brush pens and various drawing pens. We were able to use both sides of every sheet. Tougher alcohol based markers will show through more easily, for example the Windsor and Newton Promarker.
We’ve used lay flat binding so the notebook opens without forcing the spine. This binding method backlines the inner pages within the spine, leaving them free to move. The cover is bound on with front and rear hinges only.
The cover is subtly blind embossed with ‘Papersmiths’ on the back and a satisfying thumb print sized monogram to the front.

Very pleased with this. It's a simple design, but keeps the pens well protected. The wooden material is very thick.
The description says it holds 9 pens, which is a bit optimistic, as there are only 6 pouches in the case.

Finally I have found a planner that gives me all I need - a monthly overview, 2 pages for each week as well with plenty of space for lists of things to do and notes and whatever you want to write for each day. PLUS pages at the back for more notes! Lovely cover and good quality paper. Well done!

I've bought about 4 of these notebooks to journal in and I absolutely adore them. They are beautiful in design, with high-quality paper and seem to last forever. More colours would be fantastic!

Most importantly, Papersmiths' quality is excellent, everything is just perfect. Can you believe they even wrapped it and included a handwritten greeting card with my name on it! I love this planner- last year I used another and didn’t accomplish as many goals as I normally do when I use the daily goal digger. I’m so pleased I got a 2026 version. Excellent quality, with goal setting and reflection for daily life and big picture goals. It looks handsome in black. Also Papersmiths is the best place to purchase - super fast delivery and a hand written note- just lovely- it’s never too late to ditch your current system and get one that actually works for you!
