Say hello to the newest addition to the shelves at Papersmiths: the Pocket Notebook. It measures a neat 148 x 105mm, an A6 format.
We designed it for people who like to travel light but still want a dependable notebook close at hand. Its slim profile slips easily into a bag or jacket pocket, ready to catch ideas, sketches or lecture notes whenever inspiration strikes.
The cover comes in a soft lavender purple — the very same shade as our larger Marais notebook. We chose this hue for its calming presence and subtle individuality, a shade that feels both soothing and expressive. Understated detailing keeps it refined: a blind-embossed ‘Papersmiths’ on the back and a small, tactile monogram pressed into the front.
Inside, you’ll find 80 smooth, ruled pages printed with lightweight lines, spaced 6mm apart. The stock is FSC certified, designed to handle fountain pens without feathering or bleed-through, and the pages are threadsewn for durability and ease of use. Each notebook is printed and bound in Buckinghamshire by a fourth-generation, family-run bindery. We’re launching with a limited run of 100 in each colourway.

Finally I have found a planner that gives me all I need - a monthly overview, 2 pages for each week as well with plenty of space for lists of things to do and notes and whatever you want to write for each day. PLUS pages at the back for more notes! Lovely cover and good quality paper. Well done!

This time, I was surprised by how quickly and smoothly the delivery arrived, especially since receiving packages at my house is difficult. The the price was affordable. Although I chose premium shipping, I used a half-price coupon when I bought it, making it cheaper than the official website.
Most importantly, Papersmiths' quality is excellent, everything is just perfect. Can you believe they even wrapped it and included a handwritten greeting card with my name on it! It definitely made my day and will probably make my year. These small details and kindness are more precious than anything else.
I love this planner- last year I used another and didn’t accomplish as many goals as I normally do when I use the daily goal digger. I’m so pleased I got a 2026 version. Excellent quality, with goal setting and reflection for daily life and big picture goals. It looks handsome in black. Also Papersmiths is the best place to purchase - super fast delivery and a hand written note- just lovely- it’s never too late to ditch your current system and get one that actually works for you!
I wanted to stop buying reusable pens so bought a cost effective fountain pen and this does the job perfectly. It is nicely designed, small and neat and writes beautifully. I am using the ink cartridge but also bought the converter to use just ink. Very pleased with it.

This planner is just perfect. The layout works really well, it’s lovely quality too. Really nice touch with a personalised thank you card inside and a message of thanks via Instagram. Will definitely use Papersmiths again.
I buy one of these diaries each year. They fit in a pocket or handbag. The monthly planner is very helpful. The plastic wallet is especially helpful for putting tickets/ booking confirmations in when planning ahead. Useful in places where internet or phone connection unreliable. Layout of week and hours useful for recording time spent on tasks. In an ever changing appointment landscape, easy to jot down potential meetings and confirm later. One possible improvement - a small pencil to fit in the pocket or the spine.
