  • The Design Process of Our First Notebook Collection

    Our notebooks are born from a thoughtful - and beautifully tactile - design process. We begin by exploring deep colour stories, using swatch compendiums and pigment guides to develop palettes that harmonise across covers and interiors. Each A5 notebook features a robust 270gsm cover with an embossed texture. Inside, pages are carefully selected for fountain-pen friendliness and minimal show-through, and even the page numbering is printed in a shifting gradient to create a subtle chromatic flow as you turn the pages. These are more than just notebooks; they’re luxury notebooks to admire or gift, made with heart, craft, and attention to detail.

  • The Design & Development of The Everyday Pen

    Just like our notebooks, the Papersmiths Everyday Pen was born from a long, thoughtful design process. We obsessed over the details: from the balanced weight that sits comfortably in the hand, to the smooth, precise rollerball tip and refillable ink system that makes it a lifelong tool. Its minimal aluminium body is shaped for ease of use and anodised in our signature colourways for a tactile, matte finish. Tested through dozens of prototypes, the Everyday Pen is designed to be your reliable companion - sleek enough for your desk, durable enough for daily carry, and a perfect partner to our notebooks.
