The Skies Above

In recent years, naval, military and scientific sources have begun to acknowledge the existence of UFOs. Explanations run from the commonplace, such as misidentified balloons or birds, to the more thrilling notion of extra-terrestrial visitors.

Entries include the 1980 incident in Rendlesham Forest, reported by military personnel; the Welsh schoolchildren who described a ‘figure in a silver suit’ emerging from a dome-shaped craft one lunchtime; a 77-year-old rejected by humanoid beings as being ‘too old and too infirm for our purpose’.
